Where Reply.io wins
- Channel breadth: email, LinkedIn automation, calls, SMS, and WhatsApp steps can live in one sequence, which suits teams orchestrating true multichannel cadences.
- AI SDR positioning: Jason AI can generate sequences, handle basic replies, and run parts of the motion for teams that want maximum automation.
- A built-in B2B contact database plus email finding, so data and engagement are one purchase.
- Team features: shared templates, roles, analytics dashboards, and CRM integrations aimed at structured sales orgs.
- Longer track record than most AI-outbound entrants, with a mature integration ecosystem.
Where Moatify wins
- Research depth per prospect: Moatify reads what each person has published and says something true about it. Sequence platforms personalize at the variable-and-snippet level.
- Supervision as a feature: Reply.io's AI SDR aims to remove the human; Moatify deliberately keeps you in the loop with a review queue, because a founder's reputation rides on every send.
- Live web discovery instead of a shared database: prospects surface because they show your buying signals now, not because they exist in a contact file sold to every subscriber.
- Deliverability conservatism: warm-up ramping, domain health auto-pause, and a 50-per-day ceiling protect the one domain a founder cannot replace.
- Simpler, flatter pricing: $0 to $399 per account with seats included, against per-user plans plus data and AI add-ons.

Common questions
Both Reply.io and Moatify say "AI does your outbound." What is actually different?
Where the automation points. Reply.io automates the cadence: multichannel steps firing on schedule, with AI writing copy and handling simple replies, ideally without you. Moatify automates the understanding: finding people showing your signals, researching them, writing something specific, then asking you to approve it. One optimizes for touches per hour, the other for the quality of each touch.
Does Moatify do calls, SMS, or WhatsApp?
No. Email is the channel, plus drafted DMs you send yourself and automated calendar booking. If your motion genuinely needs orchestrated calls and WhatsApp steps, Reply.io covers ground Moatify does not.
Is an AI SDR like Jason AI a bad idea?
Not inherently; for high-volume teams with tolerant markets it can pencil out. Our position is narrower: for a founder whose name and domain are on every email, fully unsupervised sending is a risk we chose not to build. Moatify keeps a human approval step by design, and we think the reply rates justify it.
Which is cheaper for a small team?
Moatify's flat tiers usually win once you count seats and add-ons: Scale is $399 per month with 10 seats included, while per-user platforms plus AI SDR fees scale with headcount. A single user on an entry email plan is the one case where Reply.io can be cheaper. Verify both pricing pages; plan structures change frequently.
Can Moatify import leads from Reply.io or my CRM?
Manual and lookup-assisted lead entry are supported today, and added leads get the full research and scoring treatment. There is no native CRM sync yet; if that is a hard requirement, factor it in honestly.
